How voter limits work

Target voters vs stored voters

Target voters what you pay for

Voters in areas you are actively campaigning: your canvassing universe, leaflet rounds, phonebank lists and GOTV targets. Your plan's voter band sets this limit. A ward is typically around 10,000 voters.

Stored voters 15× your limit

Your wider register: the rest of the constituency, neighbouring wards, historical imports. Stored voters are available for reference and selection but do not count against your target limit. Add-on electors also increase your stored voter allowance at the same 15× multiplier. Import your full register without paying for the parts you are not actively campaigning to.

Example: a ward campaign on the 10,000 target plan can import up to 150,000 stored voters from the wider constituency register. Scaling back after an election does not mean losing your data.

FAQ

Common questions

How much does Cadrify cost?

Cadrify has two plans, Core and Pro. Core starts at £15 per month for campaigns with up to 10,000 target electors; Pro starts at £45 per month. Prices scale by elector band up to 250,000 electors. There are no per-seat fees and no election surcharge. Billing is monthly with no minimum term, or annually with two months free.

What counts as a target voter?

A voter in an area you are actively campaigning: included in canvassing rounds, leaflet drops, phonebank lists, GOTV targets or field dashboards. Voters in your wider stored register who are not part of an active campaign do not count toward your target limit.

What is the stored voter allowance?

Your stored voter allowance is 15 times your target voter limit. So a 10,000-target plan lets you import up to 150,000 voters from the wider register for reference, selection and historical records. This means you can import your full constituency without being penalised for areas outside your active campaign.

Can I change my voter band?

Yes. You can move to a higher band at any time, and the new rate applies immediately. Moving to a lower band takes effect at the start of your next billing period. There is no fee for changing bands.

Do you charge per volunteer or activist?

No. Add as many volunteers, tellers and organisers as your campaign needs at no extra charge. Per-seat pricing would penalise the kind of grassroots organising Cadrify is built for.

What are elector add-ons?

If your campaign grows beyond your plan's target voter limit, you can purchase extra electors in blocks of 1,000 at £1 per block per month. The maximum add-on is 249,000 electors. Above 250,000 total, contact us for an Enterprise quote. Upgrading to the next tier is always cheaper per elector than filling the gap with add-ons.

Is there a platform fee on donations?

Yes. Cadrify charges 0.5% (50 basis points) on all donations processed through the platform. This is in addition to Stripe's standard card processing fee. There is no monthly fee for the donation feature beyond your plan cost.

What about SMS and other add-ons?

SMS and premium address lookup are charged separately and are not included in either plan. This keeps core pricing fair for campaigns that do not need them. Pricing for these will be published when they launch.

Is there a minimum contract?

No. Monthly plans have no minimum term and you can cancel at any time. Annual plans are paid upfront and include 2 months free. If you cancel an annual plan early, the remaining months are non-refundable.
